Working Foreman
Handyman service needs reliable, motivated, tradesperson for a variety of residential projects. This is a full-time contract position. Projects assigned will depend on your skill set and ability to manage a project. The more you can do, the more you can work. We are looking for a balance of quality and speed. Expect to earn a base rate + completion bonus.
All aspects of residential construction knowledge is helpful. Must be able to cut, nail, mud, caulk, paint, wire and pipe.
Position requirements:
§ A minimum of 10+ yrs construction experience required.
§ Proven track record - references will be checked.
§ Independent worker capable of following direction and requiring minimal supervision.
§ Ability to think through project completion, trouble-shooting as needed, with focus on quality along with efficiency.
§ Must own a truck or van in good running condition.
§ Tools.
§ Working cell phone.
§ Operational GPS.
Job responsibilities:
§ Perform a variety of skills required to satisfy handyman service requests up to but no larger than finishing a basement project.
§ Supervise yourself and up to 2-5 techs and laborers depending on the job.
§ Interact directly with the client and track change orders and add-ons while focusing on the initial scope of work.
§ Identify potential up sell opportunities.
§ Create a positive client experience that will lead to repeat and referral opportunities.
Please have dependable transportation and the utensils you need to work. . This position can start immediately.
I do NOT need: sub-crews, DIY’ers, part-timers or wannabes. I need 1 person who is a pro-grade handyman. We drug test, so don’t even bother. One week paid probation period for you to evaluate our company and for us to evaluate your skills.
